Welcome to Ferran
Ferran is a small village in the Aude.
Situated in the agricultural landscape of vineyards, sunflower fields and cereal crops, Ferran is found in the west of the Aude region.
The village is located in the middle of the geographical triangle formed by Carcassonne (25km), Castelnaudary (24km) and Limoux (17km).
You can travel to Ferran by car, using the motorway “L’Autoroute des Deux Mers” Toulouse- Narbonne, exit using Junction 22 at Bram (14km).
If travelling by plane, the nearest airport is L’aeroport de Salvaza at Carcassonne (23km).There are flights into Carcassone from Great Britain (London Stansted, Bournemouth, East Midlands, Liverpool, Prestwick), Denmark (Billund), Ireland (Dublin, Cork), Belgium (Brussels, Charleroi), Holland (Eindhoven) and Portugal (Porto). L’aeroport de Blagnac at Toulouse (82km) has flights from all major French and International Airports. Ferran is in the heart of a busy region for tourism (www.audetourisme.com/). The Aude boasts two UNESCO sites (La Cité de Carcassonne and Le Canal du Midi), a variety of ‘Cathar’ Castles and well established wine makers.
Ferran is 60km away from the Pyrenees and 80km away from the Mediterranean Sea.
